Kanagi Tourist Center, Madeny

Located across the street from Shayokan, the Kanagi Tourist Center (Madeny) provides tourist guidance about Kanagi and information about tourist spots on the Tsugaru Peninsula and in other nearby areas, including information on festivals, seasonal events, and transportation access. Various souvenirs related to Osamu Dazai and the local products of Kanagi are displayed for sale. Rice balls wrapped in young kelp leaves (a favorite food of Dazai), Dazai Chinese noodles with Aomori bamboo shoots, and Dazai lunch boxes are served in the restaurant.
